Psalms and Celebrations
One major work is a Bach motet we have never done because it was not originally attributed to Bach, but to Telemann. More recent scholarship on Jauchzet dem Herrn has secured its place among Bach’s other great motets. It is tuneful, jubilant, and—of course—contrapuntal.
