Music in Place: David Recca

David Recca, the New Amsterdam Singers’ assistant conductor since 2014, will give his first virtual solo piano recital on Tuesday, January 12th at 7pm. The repertoire will include Bach’s French Suite No. 5 in G major, Chopin’s “Heroic” Polonaise in A flat major, Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in G minor, op. 23, no. 5, several lovely character pieces by Grieg, and the beloved “Pathétique” Sonata by Beethoven.

The New Amsterdam Singers’ Music in Place series offers virtual gatherings to sing together, listen to recitals, learn from composers, and more. Attendance is open to the full NAS community: singers, alums, and audience. Register to receive access information.
