Our 2018-2019 season includes three programs (December, March and May) that include a broad array of music from the Renaissance through pieces by living composers and even a New York premiere. The December concert includes several psalm settings as well as a motet originally attributed to Telemann that recent scholarship now attributes to Bach. The March concert concentrates on the Romantic with several pieces by Brahms, Mendelssohn and Hugo Wolf, among others. Finally, our May concert will include a fantastic Tango Mass by Palmeri with accompaniment by strings and the traditional tango bandoneon as well as a piece for chorus and guitar by Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
